Happy Birthday Little Richard

Today is the 84th birthday of Little Richard.

“SO WHO’S THE REAL KING OF ROCK & ROLL?”

I distinctly remember the very first time I heard “Tutti Fruiti”, it was in the fall of 1955. I had never heard anything like it. This was before Elvis appeared on the scene.  Little Richard followed that record with “Miss Ann, “Good Golly Miss Molly”, “Send Me Some Loving”, “Gonna Live It Up”  plus a slew of others though not in tha torder.  And was well established as the king, long before Elvis came along.

So how does a king lose his throne? I have wrestled with this particular question for quite a long time now, and have come to the conclusion that Little Richard is still the king in my heart
